Fire Department
Fire Department
The main objective of fire department is to rescue and save the lives and properties of public under the rules and regulations of Fire department who lives within the municipality. Therefore this unit was established with said objective in year 2000 with a staff of an officer in charge, two sectional heads, mechanical fire force of 3 persons, fire force comprising 19 person, a fire truck. Currently it comprises with 49 staff, two fire trucks, and three water bowsers, two ambulances, snorkel truck.
Services provided by Fire Department
Prevent fire accidents within the authorized area, rescue and save lives and other humanitarian activities
Prove free ambulance services in an emergency fire accidents
Rescue people when natural disasters occur
Provide VIP security
Examine businesses under hazardous business category and provide fire report
Provide fire protection instructions and services for building plans within and outside the municipality
Conduct training programs for schools, hospitals, education institutions and other institutions.
